Malcolm kidnaps Trixie to force Chloe to turn over his money and, while trying to save Chloe and her daughter,Lucifer Season 2 is fatally shot. Lucifer prays to God to protect Chloe, promising to work for Him again if He does. God resurrects Lucifer at full strength, but not before showing him a vision of something greatly disturbing. Lucifer and Chloe kill Malcolm for good and Lucifer reveals to Amenadiel that, in exchange, God asked him to recapture a soul that escaped from Hell. A clearly worried Lucifer tells his brother that the soul is their mother.Amenadiel saves Lucifer from getting arrested by Chloe. They go to Amenadiel's fake office and Dr. Martin suddenly shows up. Although surprised to learn that they're brothers, she gives them brief session.Lucifer Season 2 DVD teams up with Amenadiel to track Malcolm's whereabouts, while Chloe and Mazikeen look for Lucifer. Amenadiel finds Malcolm and they fight, and Amenadiel is fatally injured. He is saved by Mazikeen using Lucifer's feather she's been keeping. Chloe is able to get her hands on Malcolm's money, and Dan turns himself in to clear Lucifer's name from the murder for which he was framed.
